The wait is over! The Australian Masters Games has revealed its much anticipated Games Village venue for the 2023 Games in October… and the winner is… the stunning refurbished Festival Plaza!!

The Festival Plaza will be the home of the Games, right in the heart of the Riverbank Precinct, with the AMG Village to be known as SkyCity Village, with the second exciting announcement being that SkyCity are coming on board as our Village Naming Rights Partner.

With over 10,000 participants and around 50 sports on offer, there is something for everyone. By night, SkyCity Village will transform into pop up bars, delicious food stops, music and entertainment, pretty much party central, all on the doorstep of the SkyCity Entertainment Precinct.

Member for Adelaide, Lucy Hood; Development Manager - South Australian Tourism Commission, Sally Heading; Festival Plaza Head of Public Affairs, Christie Anthoney; SkyCity Chief Operating Officer, David Christian; national soccer and basketball icons Aurelio Vidmar and Rachael Sporn and other special guests and stakeholders were all on hand to celebrate the fantastic news.

So Adelaide, now we know where the Village action will be … Let’s Play!!!
