Be aware of scam

Scams are prevalent and can affect anyone, including table tennis clubs. It's important to stay vigilant. Below is an example of a scam email received by some clubs.

Here are some tips to help you identify and avoid scams:

* Spelling Errors**: Many scam emails contain spelling and grammatical mistakes.
* Unusual Payment Requests**: Be cautious of requests for payment methods that are uncommon or suspicious.
* Business Trips**: Scammers may mention business trips or other unusual circumstances to create urgency.

Stay alert and protect yourself from scams!

A simple email to get your interested, and follow up with enrolment with scam transactions.  

"Hola i am John i want to know if you can teach my girls ping pong lessons they are 14 and 16 yrs of age they have little experience and do you accept check as form of payment? "  from John Burns claiming from johnjburns39@icloud.com 

" im presently on a business trip with Neptune marine but the girls will be local for the lessons  how much total im i looking at for both girls lessons ?"

"i will like to know if you are familiar with mobile deposit method if i send you the pic of front and back of my check you can deposit it through your mobile banking app do you know how this works ?
