Celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between Australia and China

Mr Nicholas Whitlam, the son of the former Prime Minister Gough Whitlam and Prof John Juriansz, the Director of Whitlam Institute met Mr Noel Shorter, Mr Paul Pinkewich and Dr Michael Li at Gough Whitlam's family home.
Australian national heritage asset, the former Prime Minister Gough Whitlam’s family home, which was purchased and restored through a grant from the former Coalition government in June 2021.
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and Minister for Climate Change Chris Bowen visited the former Prime Minister Gough Whitlam’s family home and paid tribute to the Honourable Gough Whitlam AC QC.
