Hi All

 Table Tennis NSW issued a survey in December with a view to obtaining the view of our members on the best way to proceed in 2022.  A snapshot of the survey is attached. (See Below)

224 members completed the survey – 199 members are fully vaccinated and 24 not vaccinated. The results of the survey are consistent with other authorities and community responses.

After taking into account the NSW Government requirements and responses to the survey Table Tennis NSW will be moving forward with requirements at Sydney Olympic Park Sports Halls where bookings are made through Table Tennis NSW and separate recommendations for affiliated clubs and associations as follows:

  1. All events at Sydney Olympic Park Sports Halls will require that only fully vaccinated participants, which includes players, officials, coaches, spectators and parents, will be allowed into the Table Tennis area. Those with approved exemptions will be required to agree to a Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) and provide a negative result each day of entry.   1. Events conducted by Affiliated Associations will be dependent upon the decision made by the committees of the respective associations or clubs. As the majority of clubs will be leasing or renting premises it is important that they first determine the requirements of the owner. Once that is received then the committee will take into account current Government regulations before determining the methodology they will use for entry to their premises.
