FIVE NSW JUNIOR PLAYERS - 2021 NATIONAL JUNIOR RANKINGS - NO 1

On 17 December 2021, Table Tennis Australia (TTA) and the National Selection Panel released the 2021 National Rankings for Senior, Youth and Junior.

Five NSW Junior players, Leonard Piyachai, Daisy Xie, Won Bae, Sanaya Buddhadasa and Yangzi Liu finished 2021 ranked number 1 in each age group:

Under 19 Girls': Yangzi Liu; Under 17 Girls': Sanaya Buddhadasa; Under 15 Boys': Won Bae; Under 13 Boys': Won Bae; Under 11 Boys': Leonard Piyachai; and Under 11 Girls': Daisy Xie.

13 years old Won Bae achieved 2021 ranked number 1 in two age groups: Under 15 Boys' No 1 and Under 13 Boys' No 1. It is a huge achievement!  

TTNSW Director and State Junior Team Manager, Leonie Whiteford said “Congratulations on behalf of TTNSW on their achievements. TTNSW is proud of NSW junior players’ achievements nationally and internationally in 2021, in particular those athletes who finished 2021 ranked number 1 in each age group.”
