FIVE NSW TOP JUNIOR PLAYERS RANK TTA NATIONAL 1ST IN 2021

Five of NSW top junior players are ranked number 1 in six age groups in the latest 2021 Table Tennis Australia National Junior Rankings released on 14 April 2021: They are

- Under 11 Girls: Daisy Xie

- Under 11 Boys: Leonard Piyachai

- Under 13 Boys: Won Bae

- Under 15 Boys: Clarence Cheng

- Under 19 Girls: Yangzi Liu

- Under 21 Women’s: Yangzi Liu

Daisy Xie has been ranked number 1 in the U11 Girls in both of 2020 & 2021.

Both Daisy Xie and Leonard Piyachai were also the winners of 2021 NSW Hopes Week & Challenge, and were selected to attend the 2021 National Hopes Week & Challenge, which is being held at LOOPS able Tennis in Melbourne from 12-16 April 2021.

The top 3 boys and the top 3 girls from the National Hopes Challenge are guaranteed selection into the 2021 National Hopes Squad. Good luck to Daisy and Leonard !

Won Bae was the boy’s winner of the 2019 National Hopes and 2019 ITTF-OCEANIA Hopes.

Yangzi Liu is ranked 1st for two age groups - Under 19 Girls & Under 21 Women’s. Well done, Yangzi!

Won Bae and Clarence Cheng have been selected in the 2021 TTA National Junior Squad. Yangzi Liu has been selected into 2021 TTA National Squad.
