Live long, play Ping pong - Ted Davis - NSW Vice President on the "Healthiest Sport For Seniors"

The NSW Seniors Expo is an annual free and fun event. Featuring over 40 exhibitors and plenty of games and giveaways, the Expo has all the latest information on travel, lifestyle, health, services and more.
2021 NSW Seniors Expo was held during 20-21 April 2021 at the Exhibition Centre, International Convention Centre, Sydney.
Ted Davis, TTNSW Vice President, brought a table tennis robot and a table to this Expo, It was the most popular item in the 2021 NSW Seniors Expo. There were people lining up to get a taste of table tennis and also the new tech revolution - Table Tennis Robots.
Ted Davis was interviewed at a very successful 2021 NSW Seniors Expo by Jean Kitson, Australian performer, writer and comedian in theatre and print, on radio and television.
Ted said: “TTNSW is the governing body for table tennis in New South Wales. Our sport works from the bottom up, and we have a lot of places for seniors to play. Luckily we received a small grant from the NSW Government to setup table tennis clubs, especially for seniors in NSW. “
Jean said: “Fantastic! Would you please let me know have you been play table tennis?”
Ted: ” I am embarrassed to tell you. It is ONLY 60 years.”
Jean: ” How fantastic it is! You must be an expert!”
Ted: “Look, I like to believe it. But my opposition all disagrees with you.”
Jean: ”Well, I will come out and I will test you later on.”
Ted: “You are very welcome to join us and play with us. Table tennis in not only Olympic sport, it is also the best sport for everyone, especially for seniors. We have several active players over 100 years old.”
2021 NSW Veterans Closed Championships will be held during 9:00am - 19:00pm, Sat 15 May 2021 - Sun 16 May 2021 at Sydney Olympic Park - Sports Halls, Sydney Olympic Park, Cnr Grand Parade and Olympic Boulevard
