ONE CLUB WON 20 MEDALS AT 4 NATIONAL EVENTS WITHIN 3 MONTHS

A tight day of competition capped off a highly successful 2022 National Hopes Week & Challenge on 15 April 2022. 76 players born 2010 or later from 7 State/Territory Associations were in action throughout the tournament

 

Three NSW State Hopes Team players from PCYC & Paul Zhao Table Tennis Academy won 1 Gold Medal and 2 Silver Medals.

 

Lily Zhang won Hopes Girls Gold, Melika Mirzadeh won Hopes Girls Silver and Jennifer Dou won Mini Hopes Girls Silver.

Six top TTNSW junior players from PCYC & Paul Zhao Table Tennis Academy won 17 medals at the 2022 TTA Tours – Canberra, Melbourne and Sydney.

 

Lily Zhang won 3 gold medals: U13 Girls’ Singles Gold in Canberra, U13 Girls’ Singles Gold in Melbourne and U13 Girls’ Singles Gold in Sydney.

Melika Mirzadeh won 3 medals: U11 Girls’ Singles Gold & U13 Girls’ Singles Bronze in Melbourne and U11 Girls’ Singles Bronze in Sydney. Jennifer Dou won 2 medals: U11 Girls’ Singles Gold in Canberra and U11 Girls’ Singles Bronze in Melbourne.

Sophie Zhou won U11 Girls’ Singles Silver in Sydney and Craig Kelly won U11 Boys’ Silver in Canberra.

Chulong Nie won 7 medals. In Canberra, he won U21 Men’s Singles Gold, U19 Boys’ Singles Silver and U17 Boys’ Singles Gold; In Melbourne, he won U17 Boys’ Singles Bronze; and in Sydney he won U21 Men’s Open Singles Bronze, U19 Boys’ Singles Silver Bronze and U17 Boys’ Singles Gold.
