Registrations Open - 2023 National Hopes Week & Challenge

"THE DREAM STARTS HERE"
If your child is born in 2011 or later, sign up now. They will improve their game, learn from TTA National Coaches, compete for National Titles, and start their journey on the way to National Squad selection.
Registrations are now open for the 2023 National Hopes Week & Challenge, which will be played at Geelong Table Tennis Association, Victoria from 17-21 April. Entries close Sunday 26 March 2023.

ELIGIBILITY
TO PARTICIPATE IN THE 2023 NATIONAL HOPES WEEK & CHALLENGE, PLAYERS MUST HAVE PARTICIPATED IN A NATIONAL HOPES QUALIFICATION EVENT.
NOTE: Tasmania and Northern Territory players exempt from this requirement due to no National Hopes Qualification events being held there. Other players may be exempt at the sole discretion of TTA.

TRAINING CAMP COMPONENT – National Hopes Week: Open to players born in 2011 or later.
COMPETITION COMPONENT – National Hopes Challenge: Only open to players born in 2011 and 2012. This is an ITTF Regulation.
COMPETITION COMPONENT – National Mini Hopes Challenge: Open only to players born in 2013 or later.
WHAT'S INCLUDED?
- 4-day training camp with TTA National Coaches John Murphy, Jens Lang, Simon Gerada and Hongbo Liang, including 8 training sessions and educational activities.
- 1-day competition, competing for National Titles.
- Guest appearances from National Team players, including acting as training partners.
- The opportunity to interact with the best Hopes level players and coaches in Australia.
NOTE: Results from the 2023 National Hopes Challenge and 2023 National Mini Hopes Challenge will count towards selections when the 2023 National Squad Mid-Year Review is undertaken.
