TABLE TENNIS NSW SUCCESSFUL LEVEL 1 COACHING COURSE

Table Tennis NSW (TTNSW) successfully ran a Level 1 Coaching Course from 26-28 March 2021 with 18 participants at TTNSW Head Office in Sydney Olympic Park.

This course is the latest approved by the Australian Sports Commission. Participants completing the requirements gain a nationally recognised qualification by Table Tennis Australia.

The course was presented by Cathy Collins who has successfully run many Level 1 Courses. Cathy is a TTA Level 3 Accredited Coach & TTA Level 1 Coaching Course Presenter.

All coaches in NSW and in Australia must complete the appropriate National Coaching Accreditation Scheme (NCAS) course. Table tennis courses are progressively

Please note that it is now a requirement in Police Community Youth Clubs, most Council properties, Government Schools and Independent Schools that only accredited persons be allowed to coach. Accreditation is also required to attend National Junior Championships as a coach or a captain in NSW State Junior Team.

The next Level 1 Course is already completely full and a further course will commence on 10 September.
