THREE NSW CLUBS ARE TO RECEIVE THE TTA EQUIPMENT AND FACILITIES GRANTS

On 28 May 2021, TTA announced that the 2021 Equipment and Facilities Grants Program recipients have been determined. Three clubs/associations from NSW were successful in their applications in alphabetical order:
- Forestville Table Tennis Association - Purchase of tables, scoreboards and court surrounds
- Illawarra District Table Tennis Association - Purchase of nets and court surrounds
- Kiama Table Tennis Club - Purchase of tables and nets
In 2021 over $114,000 worth of equipment and facilities is to be injected into table tennis projects across 13 clubs/associations with a strong mix of regional and metropolitan applicants.
Forestville Table Tennis - 28 Melwood Ave, Forestville NSW 2087
All successful applicants demonstrated that their project is able to lead to an increase in participation, development of the sport, increased sustainability of the sport in their local area, clearly identify the benefits on offer, represent good value for money and generate a strong return on investment.
Illawarra District Table Tennis - 27 Walang Ave, Figtree NSW 2525
Kiama Table Tennis - 11 Manning Street, Kiama NSW 2533
In the last four years, this program has provided around $345,000 of equipment and facilities for 54 clubs/associations across all States/Territories.
Vice President of TTNSW, Ted Davis, congratulates to all successful applicants, and thanks for this strong support from TTA.
Ted said: “TTA’s Equipment & Facilities Grant Program provides an opportunity for grassroots table tennis clubs and associations to purchase new equipment or assist with the upgrade or improvement of their local table tennis facilities.”
Ted continued: “A maximum facility funding of $4,000 or up to $2,000 for equipment is available for a limited number of eligible affiliated table tennis clubs & associations every year with funding up to a maximum of 50% of the project’s total value.”
