TTNSW Junior Players Claimed Five Crowns at 2021 NSW Open Championships and 2021 VIC Open Championships

The 2021 NSW Open Championships was held on 02 May 2021 at Hurstville Aquatic Leisure Centre, Hurstville, NSW. This event is sponsored by Australia Table Tennis Promotion Association.

TTNSW junior players claimed 2 crowns at 2021 NSW Open Championships:

11 years old Lily Zhang from PCYC & Paul Zhao Table Tennis claimed the crown of <1300 Singles.

16 years old Ray Zhang from Nam Ho Table Tennis claimed the crown of U21 Men’s Singles.

The 2021 VIC Open Championships was held on 18 April 2021 at Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre, Albert Park, VIC.

TTNSW junior players claimed 32 crowns at 2021 VIC Open Championships:

19 years old Yangzi Liu claimed the crown of Women’s Singles and the crown of U21 Women’s Singles.

16 years old Sanaya Buddhadasa & Chermaine Quah (VIC) claimed the crown of Women’s Doubles.

Wen LIU, President of Australia Table Tennis Promotion Association, congratulated all the players, especially the junior players and their coaches for the fantastic results, and for demonstrating outstanding sportsmanship and fighting spirit throughout.

Leonie Whiteford, TTNSW Junior Team Manager, said “Well done, girls and boys! We are looking forward to hearing the good news from our junior players in 2021 National Junior Championships.”

Tony Aduckiewicz, President of TTNSW, thanked the strong support and the sponsorship from Australia Table Tennis Promotion Association.

Tony also thanked Table Tennis Victoria & Melbourne Sports Centre for enabling TTNSW junior players to compete. Tony also welcomes all players from all States/Territories to come to Sydney to compete at TTA Tour - Sydney, during Sat 29 May 2021 - Sun 30 May 2021 at Sydney Olympic Park - Sports Halls.
