TTA CEO Scott Houston said “Canberra is the ideal place to start the Tour in 2022 given the ongoing growth of table tennis in the ACT in recent years and its close proximity for interstate competitors.

The TTA Tour - Canberra is the first event of 2022 - with tournaments in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane set to follow in the coming months.

It is pleasing to see that so many players are travelling from interstate to compete, which is a big step forward after COVID-19 impacted many national events in 2020 and 2021 and gives us full confidence to move forward in 2022.”
